The Timberwolves competed in two major tournaments—bringing home incredible results from both the Bay Area Championship in San Jose (27 middle schools!) and the New Jersey Online Speech Festival with teams nationwide.

Summer 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting and productive season across the District. Key projects include Phase 2 of HVAC upgrades at Brittan Acres, Heather, and White Oaks Elementary Schools, the start of Phase 1 building envelope improvements at select sites, and the launch of Phase 1 of our Transitional Kindergarten expansion. Our Community Liaison Site is designed to be a central place where families can find information, resources, and support to help their children thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. On this site, you will find information about how we communicate with families, including parent communication protocols, upcoming events, and important dates. You’ll also find resources that support students’ social and emotional well-being, along with enrichment opportunities and programs offered through the District and our valued community partners.

The San Carlos School District (SCSD) Board of Trustees voted unanimously on April 2, 2026 to place a parcel tax renewal measure on the November 3, 2026 ballot. The measure would authorize a local tax to provide funding for district schools. Visit the 2026 Parcel Tax Renewal page to learn more.

It has been wonderful to see so many of you at recent school events. From 5th grade concerts to STEM Fairs, Walk-A-Jogs and Stampede and Soar, our schools have been full of energy, creativity, and opportunities to celebrate student learning. With a busy spring in full swing, we’re excited to share a few highlights and updates from across SCSD.

Throughout April and May, we take time to recognize the many dedicated individuals who make our schools strong, supportive, and inspiring places for students each day.

This week, we are especially proud to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4–8) — a time to honor the passion, commitment, and impact our teachers bring to their classrooms and our community.
