Learning Spaces

The SMARTE Afterschool Clubhouse is dedicated to enriching children's lives after school. We provide a fun, safe and welcoming place to spend time each day.

Through daily homework help, physical activity, and STEAM enrichment, children enhance their academic performance and character development preparing them for future success.

Our program is available to K-3rd grade students at our four elementary schools - Arundel, Brittan Acres, Heather and White Oaks. Each program offers age-appropriate educational and enriching activities in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Click on the title link above for more information.

Come join your friends in the San Carlos Preschool Program! Children are painting, building, creating, learning and playing Monday-Friday from 7:30am until 5:00pm. We have open spots available at each of the four elementary sites.

Afterschool Care Enrichment, also known as ACE is a new licensed After School program (pending licensing) founded by Eve Daskalakis who has served families in the San Carlos Childcare Community since 2008. ACE will provide a familiar family-oriented program where students feel safe, at home, challenged, and excited to be a part of each day. Click on the title link above to learn more.

The SCSD preschool summer camp will be in session for five-weeks from July 6 - August 7, Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Summer camp will include developmentally appropriate practices, including lots of outdoor activities, water play, bikes from home, balls, hoola hoops and other grass field games, outdoor painting and creative arts.
