Brittan Acres BUGS Program

BA BUGS Program
Superintendent Jennifer Frentress stopped by the Brittan Acres school garden🪴to see what Mr. Liner’s class has been up to.
Part of the school’s STEAM program, Better Understanding of Garden Science (BUGS) helps students further their understanding of the interdependence between all of the earth’s living things as they grow into 2nd & 3rd grade BUGS students. They design and conduct experiments to test the effects of water, light, compost and fertilizer on crop production and study local flora and fauna, life cycles, and more! 💚 #scsdproud

Updates coming to SamTrans Bus School Routes in August

SamTrans
Effective August 7, 2022, SamTrans will implement changes to many of its school-oriented routes. These route changes are included in the final Reimagine SamTrans plan, which was a nearly three-year effort to analyze the bus system with the goal of improving service and responding to changing ridership in San Mateo County. These upcoming school-oriented route changes will improve efficiency while maintaining service for many students who rely on SamTrans to get to school. In addition to routing changes, there will also be schedule adjustments to many routes to respond to changing school bell schedules for the 2022/23 school year. Check the website below after Aug. 7 for more information.
