Eirene Chen

Eirene Chen (Vice President)

Former education policy analyst, Commission for Positive Change for the Oakland Public Schools.
  • Professional Experience: Business leader for consumer technology companies including Intuit, Google, The Learning Company and start-ups. Specialties include marketing, customer experience design, design and launch of new products/services, research, leadership development and building effective teams.

Wendy Dougherty (Clerk)Wendy Dougherty

Served on PTA at Brittan Acres as Chair of Special Projects. Served as fundraising chair for the campaign for Measure P Parcel Tax with Citizens for San Carlos Schools that was successfully passed in 2015.
  • Professional Experience: Results-driven executive with over 20 years of experience in philanthropy, management consulting, international development, and education. Started career as a bilingual elementary educator in Compton, CA with Teach for America. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer of an education non-profit organization, Californians Dedicated to Education Foundation, supporting a variety of initiatives at the regional and state level aimed at promoting innovation and quality improvements in the public education system.
  • Personal Info: Wendy and her family have resided in San Carlos for over 11 years. She has a daughter who is in 5th grade at Arroyo and attended Brittan Acres.
