Instrumental Music

Both Central Middle School and Tierra Linda Middle School have a robust instrumental music program, including a concert band, orchestra, and jazz band. Students are taught both music theory and performance in a fun and engaging environment. Concerts are held at each school twice per year, with the opportunity for both group and solo performances. In addition, our music groups have traditionally participated in a number of outside festivals and competitions. The bands and orchestras are perennial winners in local and state competitions and have garnered a state-wide reputation for excellence.
