Title III Limited English Proficient and Immigrant Funding

 
Annually, districts receiving Title III Limited English Proficient (LEP) and/or Immigrant funding must update and submit an application for funding, including the projected budget for the anticipated entitlement amount, to the California Department of Education (CDE), following local governing board approval.
 
This grant money is restricted to particular allowable activities designed to supplement the learning of our English Learners. These allocations may include personnel, materials, programs and services consistent with the required and allowable activities of ESEA Title III, Part A, Section 3114.
