Community Engagement

Each quarter, two representatives of the San Carlos School District Board of Trustees and the two representatives of the City of San Carlos City Council, along with staff from the District and City, meet in a "2+2 Meeting." This is a public meeting where the District and City communicate and collaborate on topics related to both entities. The next 2+2 Meeting is this Friday, Oct 30, 2020 at at 9:00 am.

Read the SCSD Return to School Planning Update. During last Thursday’s Board meeting on October 8, Trustees heard from our Principals about the next steps we are ready to take to prepare for in-person learning on campus. We are taking a measured, incremental approach to preparing for in-person learning to ensure the safety of staff and students, and continue with daily engagement with teachers. SCSD Schools will be closed Monday, Oct. 12. Lunches will be delivered Tuesday, Oct. 13 at the regular locations.
