Spotlight on Excellence - Mariposa Upper Elementary School

🦋 Mariposa Monarchs in Action! At the 10/8 School Board meeting, Mariposa Upper Elementary Principal Theresa Fox shared an update with Trustees on the teaching, learning, programs, and services that support our Monarchs.
Fifth-grade students helped bring that learning to life by demonstrating how they are teaching fourth graders what it means to be a Self-Aware Learner, an important part of our SCSD Learner Profile. From building self-awareness to practicing kindness and responsibility, our Monarchs are learning valuable skills that extend beyond the classroom.

We love seeing students lead, learn from one another, and bring our Learner Profile to life!
