Spotlight on Excellence

We are proud to recognize and celebrate our 2025–26 retirees for their years of dedicated service to the students, families, and staff of the San Carlos School District. Their impact on our schools and community will be felt for years to come.

  • Gigi Banfield – 7th Grade Teacher, Central Middle School, 19 years
    Angela Becher – Transitional Kindergarten Classroom Aide, White Oaks, 12 years
    Carol Scannell – 6th Grade Teacher, Central Middle School, 25 years
    Jill Sebben – 6th Grade Teacher, Central Middle School, 35 years
    Jean Tech – Paraeducator, Heather Elementary, 12 years
    Gail Walters – Speech and Language Pathologist, Heather LEAP, 16 years
  • Retiring staff will also be celebrated at our 4th Annual Retirement & Recruitment Picnic on Wednesday, June 3.
