The San Carlos School District is just starting its search for a new Superintendent. The Board has hired Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA) to conduct the search. Jacki Horejs (former Superintendent of Union School District), Diane Siri (former Santa Cruz County Superintendent and Barry Groves (former Superintendent of Mountain View- Los Altos) will be coordinating the search for the District.

The Board wants to hear from the community, parents, and staff as it prepares to make this very important decision. Families and community members are encouraged to attend a Community input meeting on January 22, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the District Office Board Room. Staff members will have opportunities to provide input in various focus groups being scheduled on January 22 and 23, 2018.  All members of the school community are encouraged to complete the online survey which will be available in English and Spanish from January 22 through February 5, 2018 and can be accessed from the district web site.

Candidate interviews for Superintendent will be held in early March, and we hope to introduce the new Superintendent at the April 5, 2018 Board meeting.
