As the saying goes, “it takes a village” to raise a child, and fortunately, San Carlos is a “village” that highly values public education and is able to bring together a community to partner with its professional educators to deliver innovative and engaging learning experiences.

 

SCSD succeeds through this tight partnership with its community, including its parents, other government agencies, non-profits, local businesses, and members of the larger community. Particularly in an environment of minimal state funding for public education in California, this learning alliance allows SCSD students to reach their highest academic, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical potential.
