Instrumental Music

Both Central Middle School and Tierra Linda Middle School have a robust instrumental music program, including a concert band, orchestra, and jazz band. Students are taught both music theory and performance in a fun and engaging environment. Concerts are held at each school twice per year, with the opportunity for both group and solo performances. In addition, our music groups participate in a number of outside festivals and competitions, including the California Music Educators Association competition, the California All-State Music Festival, and the Anaheim Heritage Festival. The bands and orchestras are perennial winners in local and state competitions and have garnered a state-wide reputation for excellence.
